What is this all about? 
The primary aim of the Cestovie Project (CP) is to provide a census of all "Basket Lifts" built around the world. So far, 82 Cestovie in Italy , 7 in France and 3 in Switzerland have been documented, plus 5 in other countries. Additional information about topology and history of this curious means of transportation will be developed as time goes by.
