Charkov is the second biggest city in the Ukraine (1.461.000 inhabitants). The 1971 built urban basket lift crossed "Gorki Park" and measures 1387m of length, which is covered in 18 minutes (1,3m/s). The elevation between the two terminals " Горпарк " and "Павлово " differs by only 12 meters. Each basket of the 124 baskets has a loading capacity of 180kg.

Die Körbe wurden mittlerweile mit bunten 2er Fiberglass-Kabinen ersetzt (gelb,
grün, blau, rot)
