• Kristian Hasenjäger is deeply interested in the subtle complexities that shape technology, culture, and art. He enjoys analyzing systemic interconnections with curiosity and an open mind.

• Currently, he serves as a senior lecturer and thesis advisor at MCI Innsbruck, contributing to bachelor’s and master’s programs in Management, Communication & IT. His focus areas include Agile and New Work methodologies, Software Engineering, Philosophy & Ethics, and emerging technologies.

• Previously, he played a key role as a senior software engineer in the start-up Odisei, which was swiftly acquired by 8x8 Inc. (NYSE: EGHT). His engineering experience also includes industrial automation, specifically aerial ropeway control systems at Elin Innsbruck.

• Beyond the private sector, Kristian contributed to international crisis response training as Deputy Head of Mission and Chief Operations Officer of the United Nations component of the European Advance Exercise EURAD 2013.

• His academic background bridges technical and social sciences, with degrees in Electrical Engineering & IT, as well as studies in Political Science and Peace, Security & Conflict Transformation.

• Kristian is bilingual in German and Italian and enjoys communicating across cultures and languages in French, Spanish or English — one reason this site is multilingual.
