Furggen - A step too far. /18 months agoA step too far for a ropeway project climbing the 3457m high Furggen on the border between Italy and Switzerland. Built but never completed as its ambitious plans proposed during the sanguine fifties. Operating until 1995, when a humid and cold night embraced the cable with heavy hoarfrost ripping it off, thus leaving the hardly reachable upper terminal nearly unchanged for now 13 years. >>> Plan Maison - Furggen (in italian) |
